In other words, it’s like your own personal Twitter, except you can post messages to anyone else on Facebook or send messages to anyone else in the world. It works by creating a profile for each friend you’re hoping to message. What makes it different from Twitter is that you can create public profiles that anyone can use.
While its nice to have your own profile as a way to communicate with friends, it seems to me that its more useful to create an appost,in page that anyone can use to post whatever they want. That way, you can always be sure that if you post something that you don’t want to see everyone else on Facebook see, you can always write an explanation yourself.
One of the most important aspects of a social networking app is being able to see the “whole” picture. So you want to make sure you have your profile appost in, so that you can find the friends that you want to talk to, and to be able to see what they’re up to. The main problem is that Skype has a limited number of free calling plans and you can only call people in the US. If they don’t respond, you can ask them to text you back. It’s a cool feature I’d love to have.
I would love for it to be possible to have normal phone conversations with my friends and even my friends of friends. I could even have a group chat where we can ask each other stuff when we have the internet on our phones. This would be great if it weren’t so slow and buggy.
Some of the sites we use are also owned by Apple and Google. Even though you have to go through the process of buying the application, it still looks really neat and it is easy to use. The only downside is that you have to register with those companies and then you will have to pay to get the app, but it is worth it for the small convenience.
