I guess that is the main reason that coconut milk is often used for “delicious, nutritious, and low glycemic” drinks in Asia. The problem is that it can also be loaded with sugar, and even though it is low-glycemic, this can contribute to weight gain.
Coconut milk, as you might imagine, is a great source of calcium and magnesium. It is also a great source of protein, which is important for weight loss. So what’s up with this? If you drink too little water and you dont feel that thirsty, how can you drink so much water? You think that if you drink a lot of water your brain will be well hydrated, but that’s not what your brain does. Your brain just keeps making you drink more water and you can’t stop.
In the end, drinking too much water is not a good thing, but you can limit your intake to about half of your body weight in ounces of water per day. Then you should be fine.
