As a result, consumers in the United States are at the mercy of a very complicated and fragile system of trade and commerce. If we don’t have an incredible system of trade and commerce in place, we’ll be stuck with our own decisions and the decisions of another nation.
In fact, we are experiencing this exact problem right now with the current state of things in China. The Chinese government has decided to take over the world market in goods. And not only is this going to be extremely messy, but it will also lead to a huge economic breakdown. It is difficult to predict what will happen, but it is likely that we’ll be unable to buy anything from China on any level, not even basic necessities.
This is a concern, and one that we’re hearing more and more.
China is a country that is incredibly well-organized, so the worst-case scenario is that they do things like this without due-process. This would be a situation that would absolutely be unacceptable to our company. We are an international brand that takes pride in building quality products that people want. The world market in goods is a massive business, and we would never dream of doing anything that would impact the integrity of that business.
