I have also taken a couple of the C++ Programming course at my school.

Its easy enough to learn, but its the breaking down of it that makes learning easier. So if you want to learn the basics of programming, the first thing you might want to do is get a computer. There are tons of free programs online that teach you how to program in general.
There are a lot of things to learn, but if you want to learn how to program, you should get yourself a computer. And not just a personal computer either, but a “real” computer that you can use to write code.

A lot of colleges and universities offer computer science classes, and there are even some certificate programs that you can join.
