For the longest time I had considered the “self-consciousness” as a separate category of our lives. It seemed to be the opposite of self-love and self-respect.
In fact, we might even say that self-consciousness is the opposite of self-love, and that is why it’s so hard to love ourselves. Self-consciousness is when I feel bad about myself, but I don’t really care because I am self-conscious.

The problem is when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us. Self-awareness is a pretty cool thing. I think it is the thing that makes us aware of our own mistakes, our own bad habits, our own bad impulses, and our own bad reactions. In deathloop, this is a pretty powerful tool for us to learn new things—like how to get a piece of meat (or an ice cream), how to get into your car, where to go, where to take the bus, etc. So if youre on the road, you can learn all these things yourself.
deathloop is the first time Ive played a time-looping game, and I find it to be a pretty fun experience. I think the gameplay is a bit reminiscent of the likes of Shadow of Mordor, but without the “shouting at people” part.
