My boyfriend and I have talked about this before about self-awareness. He actually gave us a list of 10 things he would like to do to self-aware us. One of them is to write down all the things he would like to do to self-aware us. I don’t really care about self-awareness, because it’s like taking a deep breath and letting your body know that you’re doing it.
Well that just sounds awesome. But I am not really self-aware. I know I’ve been doing it, I just don’t know where.
I think being aware of what we are actually doing on a day to day basis is the best part of self-aware. I mean the only thing I can say is that I am usually doing the most annoying things, but I dont really care to tell the world about it.

It’s the same thing that comes up all the time when I ask the question “should I paint my new construction home?” and people just keep saying “yes” or “no”. We don’t know what we are supposed to be doing all the time, so we don’t know where we are supposed to be doing it. We don’t know exactly what we should be doing. We don’t understand what self-awareness is all about.

It occurs when we are able to think about our actions and thoughts, in a way that helps us to find ways to better ourselves. I see lots of people do this by going to the gym, but I think it’s a bad idea for a number of reasons. First, it’s a lot of work. If you are someone who spends most of the day just doing exercises, then you are not going to change. Second, I think we are all looking at the wrong things. Instead of focusing on improving our appearance, we should be focusing on improving our lives.
