In this video I describe the different levels of teachers’ self-awareness.
For the most part, teachers are self-aware. Just like most of us, teachers are aware of the things that we do, the things we say, and the things we don’t say.
Teachers who don’t know what to do when they know they are doing something wrong or when they know they are right. This is because they are often unaware of their own emotions or what is going on in their lives. Teachers who are unaware of what is going on in their lives, are more likely to act on impulse, or because they don’t even know what impulse is. It seems to me that teachers who know they are wrong and know that they are right are more likely to act.
