This is part of the problem. Our brains are often self-aware when they are in the “doing” state. We have a sense of knowing that we are doing something, but then we often forget about it. The more we use our brains, the less we have to be aware of ourselves.
That’s why the best way to increase awareness in your brain is to learn to play your instruments. It’s like having a friend who knows everything about everything you do on a regular basis. It’s also why we are so good at multitasking. We can be in the right spot at the right time and be able to do everything at the same time. So basically, the same thing applies to the brain.
All the research to date has shown that doing something in a specific context (like playing music) can make you more aware of yourself.
For a number of people who have difficulty focusing while studying, this is a very good reason to get your music playing and not a reason to not do it! We are so good at multitasking that we can be in the right spot at the right time and be able to do everything at the same time. Which is why so many people are able to study in the morning, but are unable to do so in the afternoon or evening.
What does this have to do with anything? Well, we’re still at the beginning of the process of figuring out how to design our own time-loop game. So if you’re not a fan of time-loops, this new trailer just might make you more aware of how they’re designed. Which means you might actually do something while you’re watching this.
The game is named after the Japanese term ‘nishi’, which is short for “the right time”. It’s a bit of a tongue-in-cheek reference to our own obsession with the right time. The idea is that the game is meant to be a lot like, say, Pokémon. All you have to do is create a time loop of your own, and you can do so at any time of day or night.
The game is also set in the year 2005. Which means it’s set in a world where time has stopped, which means it’s set in a world where we’re all stuck in a time loop. Like one of those old-fashioned cartoons where the characters are stuck in a time loop and they’re trying to go back in time to change the past. Which is why this time-looping game is set in a world where time has stopped.
Well, not as much as you think, as the game actually takes place in the year 2004. Which is why the game’s story begins in that year, and why it’s set in a world where time has stopped. There’s a certain level of irony there which is lost on me.
We’re getting a lot of “wow, this’s not a video game” jokes. There is no longer any way to make the game look good when you’re driving around in a car, or doing anything else other than driving.
