You know the saying “you’re never too young to learn”? I’ve always thought that was true.
For the last year we have been working hard to make our hogatoga app as useful and user friendly as possible. As always, there are lots of features to learn and things we can and cannot do.
Like the fact that we can’t eat any hogatoga.
The app is still in beta, but we are working to bring it to the top of the list, and we are hoping to get it ready for iOS devices next week, at which point we will be able to launch a public beta test. Now that we have our game ready to launch, it is time to get a few things done. At the moment we have the game running on iOS and Android devices. We are also working on the Android version of the game. Like many other apps in our space, hogatoga has gained a significant following in the last year. We saw the beginnings of the app in the video game game Super Meat Boy, and we heard of the app in our travels to the gaming convention PAX East. It has been a lot of fun to see so many people in our space using and enjoying the app.
As always, hogatoga has its pros and cons. Like many other apps, we will have to be a little more strict about who can download it, and in some cases, it will be easier to find people who can download it if they are using a VPN to bypass blockades in their location. However, we believe that by making our app easier to use, we are making it more accessible.
It’s worth noting that our app is also available via the Android App Store, though we can’t say if this is a good or bad thing.
Unlike other apps, this one does not require users to pay a monthly fee to access the app. It is just as easy to find people who can get it for free as well. That said, we believe the free version is better than the paid version, which would be useful for someone living overseas.
