I have to admit, I have always felt a bit of a snob when it comes to the “good-for-me” labels our parents have bestowed on us. I mean, we’re supposed to be the “good” kids. But, I have also always felt a bit of a snob when it comes to knowing what “good” means.

I know you might think that’s a bit of a weird thing to say, but it’s actually a bit of a good thing. Because the good kids are often the ones who are the most difficult to identify when they come up. The good kids have the softest edges and the most sensitive souls. These are the kids that you want to see the best in. So when you see a good kid in a good way, you know that it’s not a bad thing.

It is an issue that has been mentioned before, but it seems to me it is one that is more complicated than you might think. The good kids have to be the ones with the most in common with the bad kids. We have to add a couple more people to the group. Everyone’s a good person because they can see the world through the eyes and they realize that anything that goes wrong is a mistake.
