Gangubai Kathiawadi, the Bengali film, has been named one of the favorite movies of 2018. So when I saw Gangubai Kathiawadi, I was excited to watch it. It was one of the first Bengali films that I watched, and the first that I felt I got to know the script, actors, and the story.
The film has a total of 567 minutes which translates roughly to roughly one hour for each of the nine story lines. There is a song in the film, which I like, but there are a few other songs that I find as well. The director has done a great job of balancing the music with the plot and dialogues.
I have no idea how Gangubai Kathiawadi got created. It is a Bengali film and is about a widow’s struggle to get justice for the murder of her husband’s lover. It’s the kind of film that would have a wide appeal, and it is definitely a film that would appeal to me. The story is good and the story lines are interesting, but the film itself doesn’t stand out to me.
A recent review of “The Last Dance of the Night” by the director is a great read and I think it’s the best film I have ever seen that I have seen.
I have to admit it is not a difficult film to watch. It is not about challenging the audience to think as much as it is about the audience to be thinking. It is a film that requires the audience to remain engaged with the story and not be distracted by the action that is going on around them. I’m not an expert on gangubai kathiawadis, but I’m very familiar with this film. It is a film that I’ve watched on numerous occasions, and it’s definitely one of the best films I’ve ever seen. It has got to be one of the best gangubai kathiawadis, period. I think it was good enough to earn a spot in any list of the best gangubai kathiawadi films.
The film is a very different story from the original and is very much inspired by the popular Hindi television show “Sanskar Gang”. The storyline is a bit different, featuring a group of characters who have to fight off the evil gang leader. The film definitely lacks in the humour department but I found it very entertaining.
