A few years ago I created a set of images to represent the levels of self-awareness. You’ll find them on the top of my website, along with a few more images that I’ve used myself.
The images were originally created as an exercise in awareness. I was trying to find a way to represent this most basic human need of self-awareness without using too much color.
I was very proud of this exercise and it was very successful. I’ve seen people try to express the same thing with fewer colors, but I think the images I used in my exercise are just as effective. You may have seen some of my work in the past.
As I’ve been writing these blog posts, I’ve been thinking about the purpose of life itself. Most of the time, you think about death. But I’ve been thinking about life a lot lately, too. The way human life is constructed, each event ends, and then the whole world is returned to dust. This is a powerful metaphor for life, but it’s also a powerful metaphor for death and this post on my website is about that.
Life is like that. We can think about death and life at the same time. We can think about the moment or the day or the year or the decade, but we can only focus on one of them. We can imagine eternity, but we can only imagine the moment. We can imagine life, but we can only imagine death.
A great way to illustrate this is to look at the images on this page. For the first 10 seconds we have a beautiful tree, then an amazing sunset, then a beautiful woman carrying a baby. It’s a perfect moment, but it’s not because of the perfect image on the page that makes the moment perfect.
The beauty of beauty is that it’s all about perspective. What is and what is not perspective. From a distance it’s all about perspective. Up close, it’s all about perspective.
Perspective is the ability to see things from a different point of view. Sometimes that perspective is a good one, sometimes it is not. Perspective is something we can often think of in movies and stories. In the world of games, it is often used to suggest that something is more important than it really is.
The games that make the most sense to people are the ones that are popular. For example, you can get a lot of people making a good game and play it with the help of their friends. Or when you’re a kid and you see your friends playing, you can sometimes make a great game that matches the game description.
However, it is also a tool that developers use to convey story and emotion. For example, the game Kino’s Journey did this great job of putting a character who is an introvert and shy in a game full of social interaction and conversation. In the film version, the character was a bit more outgoing and confident. This was done in order to make it more like the movie.
