The Aikyashree Scholarship Fund is a scholarship that was established to encourage young women in India to pursue education. This scholarship is open to all girls and women in India who are in the third year of their studies. Each year the amount will be increased to 10,000 rupees. Anyone who is a part of the Aikyashree Scholarship fund can apply for the scholarship.

The scholarships program began in 2016. After a year of application and selection, the first batch of scholarships was awarded. The amount of scholarships awarded in each batch varies, but is expected to be between 50,000 and 100,000 rupees ($7000 to $12,000 depending on the number of applicants).

The main thing I look for is that the application process for the scholarships takes place in a fair and open manner. This means that all the applications will be made available for examination at one single place (at least this is what I have been told by the application team).
I’m not sure if this is strictly true but I do know that I will not get the scholarship if I do not submit a completed application. I will most likely not be accepted, and if I do get it will be because someone else didn’t, not because I didn’t make it to the final round.
