The point is, we have so much time to spend on the past that we tend to spend it wrong. The fact is, many of the things we are so enamored with now are things we enjoyed in our childhood. I think this is a major weakness in our culture. We have so much time to spend on the pastime that we have to be very careful and selective about what we choose to spend our time doing.
One of the most common forms of time management is to spend more of it on the pastime that we enjoyed as a child than we did as an adult. This is common in so many different aspects of our life that it becomes difficult to explain. Our parents have always told us not to waste time getting into trouble and then not being able to get out of it.
