We all have a little bit of a voice inside our heads which goes something like this: “I wonder what I should be doing today.” This is the sort of voice that causes us to not only lose track of time but also to lose track of our habits and routines so easily. The best way to find your voice is to write it down somewhere. Write your “inner voice” down right here, right now.

It’s not hard to do. The moment you do it, it is as if the voice is standing right in front of you. Writing it down allows you to experience it for yourself. And now you can tell yourself to remember your habits in order to follow them. You need to remember your habits in order to follow them.

The voice is your thoughts, your feelings, your memories, your hopes, and your fears. The only thing that the voice is not is the thing that it is not telling you. The voice tells you that it is not telling you anything. The voice tells you that the voice is not present. The voice tells you that the voice is not talking to you because you are not listening. The voice tells you that you are not in the same room as the voice.
