In the past it seemed we were all too busy and we didn’t pay enough attention to our surroundings. It wasn’t until the 1990s that we realized things were out of control and we needed to slow down and become more aware of the world around us.

So instead of letting our busy lives become more and more chaotic, it seems we have decided to focus our attention on becoming more aware of the world around us. In the past, we had to fight to be aware of this awareness. Now we can consciously choose to become more aware of it. It seems our society is finally realizing that we’re not here for ourselves and we have to take care of our own needs.
