Let’s talk about what one of the most important aspects of the game is, and that is the story. In Deathloop, we’re dealing with a time loop that has a set number of hours in it, and that’s why we’re going through all that time again. We’re dealing with a bunch of people who are locked in an island that’s repeating every single day. We’re also dealing with a bunch of amnesiacs living in a different time loop.
The story in Deathloop is a pretty standard amnesiac story. The main character is Colt Vahn, a guy who has spent the last few years on Deathloop trying to kill all the Visionaries. He spends that time trying to figure out why he’s here on Deathloop in the first place, but the biggest issue is that he can’t remember what the hell happened.
