This is a bit of a controversial topic, but I’m convinced it actually works. I do all of my online business through my blog, so I really only do it when I have a lot of free time. Of course, it helps that I have a lot of free time to blog.
The idea of the blog as a social media platform is pretty much the same as with Facebook and Twitter. You simply log in to your blog and start writing. Then you post some pictures or links that you think will be interesting. You can either write about your blog or your business as a whole, or you can use the blog to share news or events with your readers.
In a blog you can also share your personal information (name, phone number, etc) or anything that you feel is relevant to your readers (i.e. which company you work for, your hobbies, your location). To do this, use the “Share link” option. You can also add a “Share link” button to your blog’s “About” page.
