By this point I’m sure most readers can relate to the idea of a cycle. It’s the same with addiction and the idea of being in a cycle because of the drugs you are addicted to. The cycle was built into our minds by the addictive substances that we were introduced to in our youth and have been stuck in ever since. In a similar way, we are stuck in our habits because we were addicted to something that we thought was a drug.
This is a very common cycle but a very difficult one to break. So if you’re stuck in a cycle, there are a few things that you can do. You can start by taking a break. A break is when we take time to stop doing things that we usually do. The time we take breaks from is called a buffer period. These are time periods where the focus is on ourselves and our own feelings.
Buffer periods are the times where we can take time away from everything we’re doing. In other words, we have to focus on our own feelings. The more we focus on ourselves, the less we focus on other people. It’s okay to say that there’s no point in being around other people, but we can’t be with them for the rest of our lives.

You can be with your spouse, but you can also be at a bar or in a store. The best way to do this is to get away from your regular life to your favorite place.
